The Turnaround is part of a cooperative network of creative endeavors in downtown Princeton that is revitalizing a once depressed area.
The RiffRaff Arts Collective- which connects LLyniuM entertainment, Stages Music School, Heritage Cafe, The Room Upstairs, Audible Art Studios and others, has been a driving force for development. The Turnaround is one of three buildings the collective inhabits owned and leased by J.M. Real Estate. Just a block away from the brand new Princeton Public Library, The Turnaround enjoys sharing the neighborhood with Elizabeth's Boutique, Associated Photography, The Music Exchange, The Brainy Boston Book Exchange, Jimmy's Restraunt, Danny's Bar & Grill, The Veteren's Association and more.
New business is sprouting up all around and the "rebirth" of downtown Princeton is being widely recognized. Click here for a story on National Public Radio about the collective (Our part of the story begins at 12:32 in Segment C), and here for a documentary by OurMountainState.org.
The first event at The Turnaround was held March 26, 2011- the Kick-Off to All Together Arts Week, a celebration of the arts in Mercer County produced by LLyniuM entertainment. The event showcased fine artists, musicians and poets, and brought together creative minds from all around Mercer County who are interested in collaborative progress. Click here for photos.
With in-house sound production, entertainment and amenities like a large kitchen and green room, The Turnaround is primed for organizers to step in and produce an event with ease. Click here for information about our services.
